From the year 1970 it start to become famous with  really a fast speed.The major publicity of bodybuilding was done by Arnold Schwarzenegger.He also made his part to introduce it via film industry in1977. At that time, the International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness (IFBB) dominated sport and recreational Athletic Union (AAU) took a back seat. National Physics Committee (NPC) was formed in 1981 by Jim Manion, who has just stepped down as President of the AAU Physics Committee.In the NPC has gone on to become the most successful bodybuilding organization in the U.S. and amateur division of the IFBB in the United States. In late 1980 and early 1990's, they see a decline of AAU sponsored bodybuilding contest. In 1999, the AAU voted to terminate his bodybuilding events
